Adan & Co Solicitors Ltd is a specialist mental health law firm. It provides independent advice and assistance for those said to be suffering from mental health problems necessitating compulsory detention under the Mental Health Act 1983.
The firm has a genuine commitment to providing a quality of service to those not in a position to help themselves. We understand the debilitating effect that a mental disorder can have not only on the sufferer, but also its impact on their relatives and the wider community.

The firm is concerned about the individual rights and liberties of those detained under the Mental Health Act. They are amongst a very vulnerable group within our society needing specialist advice in understanding their legal rights and assistance in exercising them.
Those detained under the Mental Health Act are eligible for free representation before Mental Health Review Tribunal (MHRT) and may also be entitled to free legal advice and assistance.
Our team, though based in Kent, can arrange appointments in locations across the country within 2 hours travel from our practice address.
